The Workers Educational Association (WEA) was formed in 1903 and is now the major adult education provider in the country. The Guildford branch was formed over 70 years ago. Day to day management of WEA is devolved to regions and Guildford branch is in the Southern Region.
At the local level branch affairs are handled by volunteers elected at the annual general meeting of the branch.
